My sign-in code never arrived

Prep+Eat has no passwords – you enter your email address and we send a one-time code. If it has not turned up:

• Check your spam or junk folder. The code comes from Prep+Eat.
• Wait a minute before asking for another one. There is a short cooling-off period between codes to the same address, so tapping repeatedly does not make one arrive faster.
• Make sure the address has no typo in it. We cannot tell you whether an address is registered – that would leak who has an account – so a mistyped address simply gets nothing.

How do I get my family in?

Open Household and invite someone. You will get an invite code to pass on however you like – message, note on the fridge, read it out loud. They enter it when they first open the app, and from then on you share the same recipes, plan and shopping list.

Can I be in more than one household?

Yes. Your family, your flat, a summer house, your parents' kitchen – join as many as you like and switch between them from the household name at the top of the screen. Each one keeps its own recipes, plan and list.

What happens if I leave a household?

You keep a copy of its recipes in a new kitchen of your own, and the household keeps its own copy. From that moment the two are separate: edits on one side do not show up on the other.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Household → Edit your profile → Delete profile. It is immediate and permanent – there is no grace period and no hidden copy. Recipes you added to a shared household stay with that household, but your name comes off them.

Why did my imported recipe come in wrong?

When you paste a link, the app reads the page and pulls out the ingredients, steps and photo. Recipe sites all describe themselves differently, so some come through perfectly and some come through untidy. Everything is editable afterwards, and the original link is kept as a credit on the recipe. If a site you use often imports badly, tell us which one.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Prep+Eat is on iPhone first. Android is planned but not scheduled, and we would rather say that plainly than promise a date.
